Portable Meets Bail Conditions, Emotionally Thanks Magistrate
Portable Granted Bail After Arraignment
Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has successfully met the conditions for his bail following his arraignment at the Isabo Magistrate Court in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The court, led by Magistrate O.L. Oke, granted bail to the Zazuu crooner on Thursday, February 20, with a set amount of N2 million and a surety in like sum.
Legal Charges and Court Proceedings
Portable faced a five-count charge, including allegations of conspiracy, assault, possession of weapons, and unruly conduct. Despite the charges, he firmly pleaded not guilty in court.
Emotional Reaction to Bail Release
Upon fulfilling the bail conditions around 4:30 p.m., Portable displayed an emotional outburst, kneeling and shedding tears as he expressed deep gratitude to the magistrate for granting his release.
